The only place near me that carries movies at all is Wal-Mart so i picked up the one with the edited cover. I haven't opened it yet.
Will the movie be exactly the same? If it is i can live with the cover and watch the movie tonight. If the movie itself is edited though i will return it unopened and order it online.
Anyone know? The special features look the same (2 discs) and it is rated R. There isn't an unrated out there is there?

I spaced and forgot to order this online so i had to find it in-store. With Circuit City closing that leaves only Wal-Mart in my area to buy DVDs (other than Hollywood Video and Blockbuster which all have high prices
)

In case anyone does buy it from the place with the edited cover.
The discs themselves are screened with a plain white top and simply say Zak and Miri. So the title is edited on the top of the disc itself.
Does the unedited cover have any artwork on top of the 2 discs are are they just plain white with text as well?

I've got a question, is the menu screen on the edited cover version also edited to say "Zack and Miri"? I'm also asking for both BD and SD.

This question is primarily for BD owners, but I'm wondering if this is affecting the dvd release too. Let me know what you hear.
Does anyone notice some kind of noise in the background--like a hissing or buzzing-- that only comes across when they are in the front part of the coffee shop (like, where the cash register and tables are, not in the back or outside of it) in the movie? You could clearly hear it right at the beginning of the movie when they first start talking. In the next chapter, when Zack is in the front of the shop and Miri is changing in the back, the hiss is there when Zack speaks in the front, but not there when Miri is speaking in the back. Then, every scene afterwards in the front of the coffee shop has that same sound in the background.
I notice it is more prominent on the True HD track, but still there in Dolby. I'm guessing it is supposed to be a part of the movie because it is only present in the front of the shop, but is anyone else finding it distracting? I searched around google and I couldn't find anyone else talking about it.

Has anyone actually received their copy from DVD Planet? I preordered it from DVD Planet and it hasn't shipped. The pic shows the edited cover on the BD. I want the unedited cover. Will DVD Planet edit an order?

Just got the edited cover (BD) from Wal-Mart in the mail, menu screen isn't edited in case anyone was wondering. I do have another question though, is the group "Star Whores" promo picture that comes inside edited? I ask because the hatch on R2D2 is open and there are no balls hanging. haha I know, it sounds odd to ask but I'm curious to know if people who got the BD unedited cover have an unedited picture inside.
