Yet again the 2007 hit "I Am Legend" is releasing another version of their film on both Blu-ray and DVD. This collection will be available to own on Dec. 9th nearly one year after the films theatrical release. Just in time for the holiday's. Whether this movie needs another release since it has already been released as Single Disc Full Screen, Single Disc Wide Screen, 2 Disc Directors Cut, HD-DVD, and Blu-Ray DVD, not to mention the Steelbook Collectors Edition, this new version looks pretty cool indeed.

this same set is coming out in Blu-ray as well... which sucks, because I just bought I Am Legend BD a couple months ago.

I'm sure I posted it before, but I already bought the steelbook, so I'm good. It looks like WB is going to be doing this kind of double-dipping for a while.

damn, that set looks nice... i might have to upgrade, I really enjoy this movie.

I have the steelbook version. The Ultimate seems to be a substantial upgrade special features wise. I think I might buy it, put the 3 discs in my steelbook case and discard the rest.

From the description, the first 2 discs are identical to the release we already have ... I'm out. I like the looks of these sets ("300" being another) but I just can't justify shelling out the $$ again for another bonus disc & the swag ... if I hadn't bought the first one I might consider it.

To get my $$ it's going to have to be all new ... and I want the previous two versions of the story (since 2nd Spin screwed me out of the Vincent Price version)!
