Good news. I loved parts 1-3, thought part 4 was actually very good as well... but Saw V was the first in the series I really felt 'meh' about. However, it still remains better than most the crap that gets put out, so, I of course have to buy this. Thanks for the heads up!

Hopefully they'll release the "Director's Cut" upfront like they did with IV.

From Wikipedia:
During an interview at the 2008 Scream Awards, David Hackl confirmed that his director's cut of Saw V (to be released on DVD in 2009), will run approximately 14 minutes longer than the theatrical cut. Hackl also stated that a number of scenes in the film would be re-ordered and arranged differently than in the theatrical cut

The unrated cut will only be two minutes longer than the theatrical.
I'm in for the cool "limited edition" (ahem) as it'll go along with my trilogy case, but I'm still waiting for the eventual two-disc director's cut of Saw IV along with what'll be the two-disc version of this outing.

It's going to be weird if Lionsgate double dips on Saw V down the road for that director's cut Heckl has been talking about, but yet Saw IV will remain a single-disc set?
