Every day I'm coming home to new boxes of wonderful DVDplanet orders. Today was a box of Blu-Rays & a box of SDs that have been on my wish-list.
Probably a lot of crap to most, but a box of awesomness for me. Can't wait to watch them.

The Long Goodbye is one of Altman's finest. Looking through your collection, how do you not have Nashville? It would only cost you $4.86 from DVD Planet during the sale. Go ahead and order it - you'll thank me later. You should also check out McCabe and Mrs. Miller, Images, and the unfortunately OOP Perfect Split for more classic 70s Altman.

I love McCabe & Nashville especially, I definitely need them. I've never seen Images or Perfect Split though

DVD Talk Legend
Images is one of the more unique titles in Altman's oeuvre. The only film comparable would be 3 Women. A mixture of psychological thriller, horror, and unsettling mood piece, it seems to have been all but forgotten, but is certainly worth seeing. In somewhat of the same vein as Repulsion, but a bit more fragmented and self-consciously "arty", which can be a bit off-putting, but only mildly so.
