Fan Input on DVD releases
I've been trying for years to find a Site where we, DVD/Movie & TV fans, can have some input for the studios/producers/companies that release films on DVD. We pretty much have done so for TV productions and that has increased dramatically over the last year. Because of this we are falling behind in the number of movie titles being released monthly. On my Web I have a List of over 150 films awaiting release on DVD including such classics as A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Edison the Man and Young Tom Edison, The Emigrants & The New Land, Three Came Home and many others. I remember about 5 or so years ago Turner Classic offered fans of their Website a chance to choose from a TCM List films they wanted on DVD. Shoes of the Fisherman was one chosen I remember and now it's available. Isn't there some way we can push these studios into releasing our favorites on DVD. I hate just waiting around. I should admit, however, that quite a few films & mini-series that were on my List are now on DVD. Was someone checking my Web's List? I hope so, and that whoever it was will return. Any ideas out there on how WE can speed things up?
