how to capture audio from DVD?
There are some DVDs that I would like to capture the audio (music only soundtrack, commentary, or just audio clips from the movie). Since I bought the DVD and only want to listen to the audio for myself, I am assuming this falls under fair use and no copyright infringement is involved.
However, how do I do this exactly? Ideally I would like to go from a audio track on my DVD to a mp3 file that I can listen to. Is there software available that can do this?
Thanks for your help!

Do a search in the tech area. I know there have been threads about this, but I don't remember what the answers ultimately were.
Forum rules do forbid discussing the methods that involve breaking copy protection to do digital rips. But it seems to me there was a way of making an analog recording that was OK.
