Highlander - The Final Dimension, Anamorphic?
Does anyone know if Highlander - The Final Dimension Director's cut is anamorphic? DVD profile says it is, but the box doesn't. I was hoping someone could help me before I bought it.
PS- I know it's awful, but I like it, so please don't turn this into a thread about how bad the movie sucks. Thanks

Ok. here's how this goes. the one that was released around 1998 is the director's cut and non-anamorphic. the one that was released in 2005 is the european cut, which is a little different as it takes out of the inconsistancies of the director's cut in the way of dialogue and it is anamorphic, although the case states it is in 1.85, it is actually 2.35

The anamorphic one that came out in 2005 has this cover: http://www.amazon.com/Highlander-Fin...dp/B00008QOE5/
It does say Widescreen (1.85:1) – Enhanced for 16x9 Televisions
...and as was said, it's actually 2.35:1. Also it says Special Director's Cut a the the top. The modified dates of the actual files on the disc is January 2001.
The older release likely looks like: http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_ite...earchID=923745
...with the old fashioned wide screen banner at the top.
