I guess the big deal is the matches that took place. I highly recommend it.

I got the Global Impact DVD from Best Buy today, and even though I haven't finished watching it I highly recommend it. The match quality (so far) is excellent and just goes to show that even if TNA doesn't have the best booking they do have some great talent. Even if you hate TNA this DVD is worth owning.

Here's a rundown of all the TNA Wrestling DVDs that are on sale for $9.99 at BestBuy.com:
Lockdown 2006 Slammiversary 2007 Sting - Return of an Icon Destination X 2007 The 50 Greatest Moments Hard Justice 2007 Turning Point 2007 The Best of Christian Cage - The Instant Classic Bound for Glory 2007 Year 1 Best of TNA 2007 Destination X 2008 Final Resolution 2008 Against All Odds 2008 Lockdown 2008 I could seem to locate Global Impact on the Best Buy Web site. |
I'll probably have a look in my local Cash Converters (UK) to see if I get lucky finding some older WWF DVDs. Probably won't but worth a try.

just a question i have, i started getting wwe dvds a few years back, around 2005, i only get the really good ones, i dont get the ones if they only have 1 or 2 matches i want to see, most of the ones i have are atleast a 2 disk if not a 3 or 4 disk set
my question is are there any real good ones that came out earlyier on, like before 2004 or so, i heard they never started doing 2 disk sets regularly until around that time, if not can anybody tell me the name of them |
also i heard many on here say wwe 24/7 is awesome, is it on dish network or do you need to be subscribe to a local network like some cable company, and does it come up as a special station on the satillete dish
im confused about on demand stations, do u need a special receiver to have those stations show up or does it automatically show up, my friend has dish network and i tryed to look for it on there and saw nothing |

ok cool, thanks, but back to me other question
i never started getting wwe dvds till around 2005 or so, i heard they never started doing 2 disk and 3 disk sets till around 2005, can anybody tell me what good wwe dvds were released before 2005, and what year did they start releasing them, i saw from the vault shawn michaels in 2003 that was 2 disk, but next to that what other good ones are there, and is from the vault really worth it, i already got most of his big matches |

I got 24/7 few months back, its only on cable and not satellite. Its $9.95/month and basically theres categories for each theme (Big ones, Legends, TV Classics, etc.) and you just select what you want. They update the footage every month. You don't have to pay for the programming.

2 great shows off the top of my head that aren't too hard to find are Summerslam 2002 and Vengeance 2003

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I was checking the specs for the upcoming PS3 Smackdown 2009 game and the Collectors Edition includes several notable items:
The blu ray extras sound interesting. Even though the game is going to probably suck more than last year, I will try to pick this up on release date. On a side note, why the fuck does THQ insist on keeping that crappy Smackdown series alive instead of going back to the No Mercy engine? Doesn't this company understand that what makes a video game good is gameplay, not graphics, complicated controls and lame features? http://www.amazon.com/WWE-Smackdown-...840047&sr=1-25 |
And there is a WWE Video AD?

Wrestling SteelBooks
Are there any new Wrestling SteelBooks?
I have the following, all from the UK: Royal Rumble 2007 Royal Rumble 2008 Summer Slam 2007 Survivor Series 2007 |
I have a quick question for forum members in the U.S. who have bought some of the UK Tagged Classics releases.
When you play them back on your dvd player, does it look like video is slowed down only slightly? On mine it looks like it is and the video almost looks like you're watching a movie rather than a wrestling event because the brightness looks slightly darker than on my US released dvd's. |
