Harold and Kumar Question Aka I'm an idiot

I'm sure I'm an idiot for even asking so I beg for your understanding....

I rented the unrated version of Harold and Kumar and I'm trying to access the special features. The commentaries, the "Dude, Change the movie" feature etc and I can't seem to find them.

The menu screen has play movie, scene selections, set up options and a trailers section. I would have thought the features would be in the set up options but alas not.

Any suggestions on how to find what I'm looking for.

Don't some rental editions omit the special features to make the disc cheaper? I know this movie is short enough to fit on a single layer disc if it doesn't have extras.

Are you positive it's Unrated? I think there's a 1-disc rated with no bonus features.

Did you rent it from Blockbuster? I think it's the unrated version with no special features.

I'm wondering about this release.

Does the 2-disc have both rated and unrated versions or not?

The single disc contains both versions and may be bare bones based on the packaging.
There is also a separate single disc rated version only dvd.

Meanwhile the 2 disc edition does not list the theatrical version being included at all. The single disc rated/unrated edition lists the running time of both versions. While the 2 disc only lists the unrated running time.

I have the version from Netflix right now, there are now features on the disc, although there are both versions of the movie, it asks which one you want to watch...

So that explains it...i simply have a barebones copy that has both versions on the same disk.

Bizarre.

I rented it last night from Blockbuster and it was 1 disc, both versions, no features.

I wanted to see the deleted scenes but I'm not willing to buy it.

yeah, i've been noticing that all BBV "Exclusive" editions look similar to regular, but do not have any special features. really is frustrating since that is the only place i rent from and now more and more are becoming this "Exclusive" and now i just want to pass it by even if i want to see the movie bc if i enjoy it i always want more with the special features. really pathetic on BBV imo.

H&K isn't a BBV exclusive.
