Pumpkinhead SE from MGM: 9/9/08

A childhood favorite. I'll definitely give this a spin during the horror challenge. Looks like a surprisingly extensive array of extras. Info from dvdtimes.co.uk:

MGM Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Pumpkinhead (Collector’s Edition) on 9th September 2008 priced at $19.98 SRP. The 20th anniversary celebration of the late Stan Winston’s directorial debut stars Lance Henriksen as Ed Harley, a storekeeper raising his young son in rural Nevada. When a group of inner-city bikers arrive in the small town on vacation, a tragic accident occurs leaving Harley’s child dead. Driven by a childhood demonic vision, he seeks the aid of a reclusive witch who conjures that same demon, Pumpkinhead, to kill those responsible for his son’s death. One by one Harley watches as the creature kills the wrongdoers and he quickly discovers that a horrific price must be paid.

Features include:

* Anamorphic Widescreen
* English Dolby Surround
* English, French and Spanish subtitles
* Commentary by co-screenwriter Gary Gerani and creature and FX creators Tom Woodruff, Jr. and Alec Gillis; moderated by filmmaker Scott Spiegel
* All-new featurettes:
o Pumpkinhead Unearthed
o Evolution of a Demon
o The Cursed and the Damned
o The Tortured Soul of Ed Harley
o Constructing Vengeance
o Razorback Holler
o Demonic Toys
* Behind-The-Scenes Footage
* Still Gallery

Cool. Just having the widescreen print is an upgrade.

There's already a thread for this, but I couldn't find it. It's a few pages long though.

D'oh! This had just been posted at dvdtimes, so I didn't even bother doing a search. Mods feel free to close this thread.
