BATTLE BENEATH THE EARTH/THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR
$16.99 EACH

The bad news: Best Buy exclusives

I'm still trying to get the BB exclusives Legend released on July 1, and now I've got to try to get these. I freakin hate BB exclusives.

I just tried to go to the BB website, and all I get is html text.
Ridiculous.

Website back up, here are the links to the releases, and as usual it took work to even find them on the BB website, as they are horribly named.

Sci-Fi 50'S (Dbfe) - DVD
Sci-Fi 70'S #1 (Dbfe) - DVD
Sci-Fi 70'S #2 (Dbfe) - DVD

I preordered all 3, but based on previous experiences that does not mean much.

One can only hope these will be at ALL Best Buy stores unlike the Legend/Paramount debacle.

If this line does well, I hope to see more sets like this with films like Captain Nemo and the Underwater City and Atlantis, The Lost Continent.

Battle beneath the Earth!!! Yeah! One of the most fun 'bad' movies of all time.

These did indeed hit the shelves today. I picked up all three no problem.

I don't think I've seen a single one of these (but "When Dinos" sounds familiar). Odd.

They look to be right up my alley... I'm thinking blind buy may be in order, although I rarely do that any more.

When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth is the 100 minute British version that contains nudity and not the G-rated 90 minute cut as indicated on back of the DVD case.

Did you confirm this personally?

(Not doubting you, just clarifying.)

Yep, just watched it. The DVD player showed 100 minutes and the nudity, what little there is of it, is intact.

Dinosaurs and nudity? Sounds too good to be true. Is this good nudity or a sausage fest?

Victoria Vetri, aka Angela Dorian, not long after her tenure as Playmate of the Year. Short but sweet.

Anyone interested in When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth should pick it up immediately. This is just like the Swamp Thing issue from way back... once this gets noticed by someone in charge, they're going to need to do a recall of some sort, even if it's just to alter the packaging to remove the G rating info.

My thoughts exactly. I wasn't even aware that this was coming out; it's one of those movies that I figured would just never see a DVD release. And if it did, I figured it would be the edited version. Pleasantly surprised to know the uncensored cut is on there.

Reserved my copy online yesterday, and it's waiting for me at the store after work today.

Incidentally, of the six BB's nearest me, this was listed as available at four
locations yesterday; now it's down to two. Get it while you can!

I went to my local BB after work today and there were only two copies of Moon Zero Two/When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth. I just grab one cause didn't want to take a chance after that Swamp Thing fiasco which I grab the only copy I found before MGM had it pulled off the shelves because of a angry mom.
