Any word on a new edition of Stargate{the movie}? Only the single disc version in print and even the 2 disc was weak on extras anyways.

Aside from Atlantis S#4 (which just came out), Continuum (which is coming out soon) and a possible remix of the SG1 pilot I haven't heard of anything new Stargate related coming out.

What, none of these fit the bill?

The 2-disc had a commentary and two documentaries (one was weak, the making-of was pretty good.) Seems sufficient to me. They included the director's cut, so I wouldn't expect there to be any deleted scenes. Of course I would always welcome a Kurt Russell commentary, they could have John Carpenter join just for fun.

I have the Special Edition sitting on my shelf in the plastic waiting for a better edition. Then it will get returned to Wal-Mart where I got it for $5. I only bought it so it wouldn't go OOP completely.

I wish they would remaster it. The current UE had a video glitch on the directors cut that is annoying. I would double dip if it had the 2 cuts and new extras.
