Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat -- September 23rd
For some reason, every time I post Shock Till You Drop's website link it gets cut down. I found this news on their site.
Exhumed from moratorium, Anthony Hickox's 1990 Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat will be rediscovered by a whole new generation of horror fans when Lionsgate releases a special edition DVD on September 23rd.
The blood 'n dirt bloodsucker tale starring Bruce Campbell, David Carradine and Deborah Foreman, tells of vampires in a remote town existing on synthetic blood. When a human family blows in, temptation arises and a quarrel kicks up between the vamps who want to maintain the peace and those who would love to sink their teeth into a neck or two.
Special Features:
• Memories of Moab featurette (an all-new interview with Bruce Campbell)
• A Vampire Reformed featurette (all-new interview with David Carradine)
• The Making of Sundown featurette
• Audio commentary with director Anthony Hickox and director of photography Levie Isaacks
• Photo Gallery

Holy crap, I just watched this a couple weeks ago. Very odd little vampire movie, I'll have to get this one. I'll add anything with Deborah Foreman in it to my collection.
I know every thread has a comment like this, but man that cover is balls. I made a custom using the original VHS cover which I think was much better. Of course I had no idea who had the rights, so I used a BU template and didn't list any features, but still I think it's better.

Oh that cover is sweet! Still, not going to worry one way or the other when I pick this up. It could be lined paper with the name of the movie written in crayon and I would be all over it.
My VHS has held out well over the years, but it is time to put that baby to sleep with this sweet upgrade. I love this movie and had all but given up on seeing it on dvd.
Now, bring on Lunatics: A Love Story.

That's why I've got Netflix. For the longest time I wanted to see The 400 Blows but it was always VERY LONG WAIT from Blockbuster. This is the same for tons of other Criterion titles and other random obscurities. You gotta make the change.
I just finished watching it and loved it a lot. I gotta buy this one.
