Figures since I just bought the three Deadwood sets last week when Amazon had the bundle for $89.
Oh well, I don't like the complete series packaging at all with the see through window and the discs sliding into pages will mean there will be trouble with scratching. Not to mention that the artwork is boring as well. I just need to convince myself that I can live without the bonus disc now.

Nice to see an "I Am Legend" box set coming, even though I already have the SteelBook. I figured this was pretty inevitable because of how barebones the first release was. Depending on the price I'll probably pick it up.
Another SE of "JFK"? How much more could they possibly add?
Also, cool pic of the complete series set for "The Sopranos," but by that picture it looks like it's styled like a book... Does that mean the discs will just slip into cardboard slots like the packaging for "There Will Be Blood"? If so, that means a lot of scratching and a lot of unhappy fans. D'oh!

On a side note, I was hoping No Time for Sergeants would be coming out.

Digital Bits has a number of other pictures and details on a number of sets.
That Batman: TAS set looks very nice. Glad I didn't pick up the other three yet.

The info from Digital Bits says there is only 40 minutes of bonus material on the upcoming Casablanca, which just might be the exact same stuff on the current 2-disc special edition. That's odd, considering that from the picture it looks like a three-disc set
any ideas?

I don't know what could have been improved on the Casablanca set as the last release was excellent. I'm going to have to wait for some reviews before I plunk down yet more cash on this one.

It always makes me wonder why they don't bundle a short lived TV series with the movie when the series was based on the movie. Paper Moon was another one...I had waited a long time for that to come on DVD and wondered why they didn't put the short lived TV series on another disc or two in a limited edition. Best time to market the TV series.
I guess it's rights issues, or maybe they just want to focus on the movie release. I could see some studio heads thinking it would "confuse" the fans.

Since I've got the I Am Legend 2-Disc Steelbook, that special edition does nothing for me. But I only have the one disc of 300, so that one might. I'll see when they actually do come out.

Out of all those new sets, 300, I am Legend and JFK look really nice. But, I already have the 2-disc versions of 300 and JFK and I don't think I love those films enough to shell out $30-40 bucks a piece for those gift sets.
I already spent $150 for all 3 seasons of Deadwood, so I don't need to go broke and get into credit card debt for that. Bought all the seasons of The Sopranos during the Best Buy 50% off sale last November. I guess those sets only suit those who haven't bought them yet.
