House of the Dead: Funny version???
I was watching "Alone in the Dark: DC" and on one of the featurettes they show clips from "House of the Dead" and in the bottom right hand corner it says: House of the Dead: Funny Version coming soon from Lions Gate. When is this coming out. I know that the current DVD is cropped from 2.35:1 so maybe they'll fix that with a new version.

Since the movie can really only be enjoyed as an unintentional comedy, Uwe Boll went ahead and recut it to make it seem like an intentional comedy.
Bloody Disgusting has news and cover art.

OMG! The theatrical version is already one of the most hilarious movies ever. If there's an even more funny version, I think half the population would just die from laughter.

I wish there was a chance that this time around the end product would turn out--unintentionally, of course--to be a decent low budget horror flick, but somehow I don't think it works this way.
On second thought, though... Boll trying to make a funny movie... The results may well be *truly* scary. So, who knows...

Holy crap that would make this totally one of the best movies ever.
