Muppet Show DVD question

I have the Time Life "Best of Muppet Show" DVDs. Now that they're releasing them in season sets, is there any reason to hold on to them? Thanks.

Double check the musical numbers on the Time-Life discs; I believe that there are some that were excluded from the season sets (presumably because of the cost of the music rights).

Really? Where would I find that? Is there a list of excluded stuff somewhere?

Season 1 is missing stuff. (Exclusions listed in this review) Of those, I think the Vincent Price episode was the only one to be included in the Time-Life series.

I think Season 2 is uncut.

I don't know about Season 3.

The Time Life Episodes are edited as well. I know the Elton John Show is missing two numbers included in the season set.

Also, the only disc you could get rid of yet is Volume #7: Bob Hope / Dom DeLuise / George Burns. All of the other Time-Life volumes have at least one episode from season 4 or 5. It's a pretty safe assumption that Disney will go on to release the Seasons 4 and 5 sets, but you never know.
