All right! The Gorgon is one of my favorite Hammers, and Curse of the Mummy's Tomb, while a bit slow, is vintage Hammer.

I've never seen any of them but the price seems really good.

Just in time for Halloween. And of course the Annual Incredible Horror Challenge, which makes it all worth while!

Scream of Fear with Susan Strasberg and Christopher Lee is a very clever mystery which was nearly impossible to find on VHS. That alone makes the whole set worthwhile.

I voted for #3, but 2 would be OK too. I didn't care much for the first one.

#3 for me. They took a lot of crap for the cover of the Icons of Adventure dvd.

I voted #3 as well, although I'd be happy with the second one also.

The Gorgon is a lot of fun, as is most Hammer stuff. Pre-ordered and voted for cover #1, although it's the least popular.

I voted for #3 - #2 is ok, although mummy-centric, but #1 is too over the top, even for Hammer!

Amazon.com customers voted on the cover art for the new Icons of Horror collection, entitled Hammer Horror, and the winner is:

Option 2.

This is a very fun set. Just watched Curse of the Mummy's Tomb, which I had only seen on pan-n-scan TV, and the widescreen print here looks really good. It is a bit slow for the first half, but it picks up speed, and there's some really nice sets, lighting and cinematography that show off the best of Hammer's attributes, IMO. Also watched Scream of Fear, which I had never seen and was a pleasant surprise---one of Hammer's B&W takes on a "Psycho"-type movie. It's very atmospheric and well-filmed, with a solid story and performances---and a really satisfying twist ending! I enjoyed this one a lot. I haven't watched the other two yet, although I've seen (and really liked) The Gorgon. This is a great little set of slightly obscure Hammers.

Highly recommended. The only film I hadn't seen yet was "Two Faces of Dr, Jekyll" and I loved it. Right up there with the top tier Hammers in my opinion.

i just watched jekyll and didn't like it at all. the lead actor is a bore. why they didn't give c. lee the lead is beyond me.
the mummy movie was o.k. but the dvds sure have top notch prints.
