http://www.engadget.com/2008/06/02/s...tructing-dvds/ I love how easy it is for a company to act high and mighty about it's product being available for recycling when it's pretty clear that the main motive of said product is that people can watch it and throw it away. |
Price tag: $4-$6. Or go to Redbox for $1. Or don't leave your home at all and use Netflix/Blockbuster. Or download legally from the 360 marketplace (or similar).
In short, there are a myriad of other options that are far superior to this one. |
It's so funny how they didn't give up on this once it became possible to get around the self-destructing part (which involves doing things we aren't allowed to talk about here). I got the "Noel" disc as a novelty, this is the intro from it:
<embed id="VideoPlayback" style="width:400px;height:326px" allowFullScreen="true" flashvars="fs=true" src="http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docid=8141765775397029635&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"> </embed> |
I can't think of a better title for this medium than this film...
http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.en...xplay-disc.jpg I mean, who'd want to watch this twice? :D |
