Don't forget about the the wrestling Buy/Sell/Trade area

I jnoticed that the Greatest Superstars of Wrestlemania DVD is actually going to be released in all retails in Canada on Sept. 9. So much for it being a Walmart exclusive, and it was even available in Canada on the release date back in March.
I was expecting it to be a rare gem after since i don't think Walmarts carry it now. |
just a head's up, the TNA: Global Impact JAPAN dvd was stocked at my Best Buy (Paramus, NJ- fashion center) with a sticker of 14.99
|
My Wal-Mart still carries the Greatest Superstars of Wrestlemania DVD.

I was browsing through the SummerSlam 2003-2007 digipack at Silvervision and didnt see Chris Benoit's name on the 2005 DVD I emailed Silvervision and here's their reply :
Hi David, It looks like we have made a mistake with the listing for the 2006 version. Chris Benoit does appear on 2005 but he is not on the card for 2006. The site will be updated and corrected shortly. Regards Vicky |

Nice. Is there a release date for the individual Summerslam volumes yet? That's the route I went with the WM and RR anthology sets, and was able to pick them up much cheaper "used" (plus I only bought 3 volumes from each collection).
|
Those look pretty good, I'm glad to see they started putting wrestlers on the covers.....now all I'd like to see is the Survivor Series set next year, and a smaller King of the Ring.....or maybe even an In Your House :P

The digipacks look great! i can't wait to pick up the whole boxset. I am guessing the individual volumes won't be available in North America atleast til early next year.
After reading the first review of the new Flair DVD, the set looks AMAZING!! The review only covered the first 2 discs and it looks great especially the biography and even the matches on the 2nd disc are awesome!. This set looks to be a must have! |
They should have had his match vs Vader :)
|
How the hell could they not feature Austin prominantly on the cover of volume 3? That's just nuts since he was the biggest draw they had from 1998-2001.
|
He is on it but just not the main focus :(

Did indeed find Global Impact at Best Buy today....Listed as a Best Buy Exclusive. I had it in my hands in order to pick it up today (Since I never thought that I would ever get the DVD since shipping is so expensive on ShopTNA) and their systems were down and they could not take my giftcard. So I guess I gotta go get it tomorrow now.

I guess TNA just wants to get people to shop at their crappy TNAshop site by saying its only available there, then finally stores start selling them. Ever since i put down over $100 for that Slammiversary 2007 package with Best of Bloodiest Brawls, Best of NWA-TNA title matches and Best of X-Division matches DVDs and using their famous "it will never be on sale again" i will never shop on their website and haven't looked back. |

Awesome!! the Flair DVD has the off the air footage for the farewell address. The farewell address is worth the price of the dvd alone.

A little question regarding the Tribute To The Troops 2007 promotional dvd if anyone here happenes to own a copy.
I got it in the mail from someone on ebay this week, and i was wondering if i might have received a bootleg copy. The back of the dvd is purple like a burnt dvd-r copy, the front label looks like it could be a photocopied color sticker since the colors seem a little off to me, and the dvd itself has no wwe warnings or wwe menus of any kind...once the dvd loads the show starts playing automatically without going to any menu, and when i click on menu there's only this simple single page blue menu. Can anyone please verify if their copy is the same, or have i just gotten a bootleg copy of some kind? |
