Exact opposite for me. I didn't watch it after the pilot episode, but tuned back in once CBS switched it with HIMYM. Very funny show. I look forward to renting/buying the season set.

So you'd rather wait 5-10 years, rather than spending 20something dollars, often less, to have the episodes now? Can't say I understand your logic, but I admire your patience.
