what's the one thing you always wanted to see on dvd?
Thanks to DVDs (and laserdiscs) I've been able to see things that I used to just read about, such as the fate of Dallas in "Alien." The one thing that I would still love to see is the technicolor test reel for "Son of Frankentstein." I remember reading (I believe it was in Famous Monsters magazine) that they did a color test on the monster's make-up and it didn't translate well. I really want to see this as a bonus feature someday. Anyone else have a wish list of bonus features?

the musical numbers dropped from 'I'll Do Anything'
the alternate ending of Frank Oz' remake of 'Little Shop of Horrors' in color and with sound.
I've now seen 'The Rape of Chirst' sequence from 'The Devils' - so I can cross that off my list.

Bloopers especially the cursing ones they leave off dvds when they even include them.
I remember seeing a bunch of great Dark Angel Bloopers on the net a few years back but on the DVDs they cut out all the cursing and all the fun. And I would like some Star Trek original series bloopers that arnt bootlegs
X-Files, ect

Add Bugsy Malone to that list. Never got to DVD.

I'd like to see the director's cut of 'The Birdcage' with all the footage reinstated for the tv cut, but along with the original unaltered R-rated footage as well.

David Lynch's original 4 hour cut of Blue Velvet.
The original "spider pit" sequence from King Kong ('33).
Completely uncut versions of Friday the 13th: 1, 4, 6 and 7.
Widescreen versions of Death Wish 2-5.

Death Wish 2 uncut would ideal too - not sure if the recent airing on HDNet Movies was said uncensored version.
since this seems to be a trend for Criterion, the mini-series 6 hour version of Billie August's 'The Best Intentions'
for completist's like myself: The European cut of Ridley's Scott's 'Legend'

remastered color corrected Todd-AO version of 'Oklahoma!' - if you've seen the dvd travesty you know what I mean, someone at Fox should be shot in the groin for this.

I posted years ago in this forum, my brilliant DVD idea that we will probably never see.
DVDs collected un-aired televisions Pilots.
The potential is endless, with the talent that is involved with failed TV pilots. I remember reading about a sitcom that Conan O'Brian wrote with that the pilot is sheer genius.
And I'm still F'n waiting for the great & underrated Hannie Caulder.
