This last week all remaining in-print Synkronized titles were flagged as "Moratoriumed". I have a feeler out, but highly suspect this is just a move to a new distribution channel.

Yes it means out of print and be skeptical of the list at your own peril. The list has been maintained for years and I personally have found it to be an invaluable resource.

Always take the lists with a grain of salt. While they are based on reliable sources, there are many times where the announcement was only made due to momentary pressing/stocking issues. Also there are a couple of the big name studios that just love to put something out of print only to revive it months (and sometimes years) later with the same packaging and content (sometimes with an inflated price). I try to get more information when I see a large portion of a studio/distributor's titles go OOP, but sometimes no one will talk.
It's just a grapevine/rumor mill with a grain of truth.....

Very likely MGM may be going more the DVD-R on demand route for some of their discontinued titles. HBO and Warner Bros. appears to moving down that road.
