Re: Out-Of-Print Titles (recently discovered) [2nd thread]
MGM sees to be ceasing production on lots of their catalog. Wild at Heart is also OOP, BLue Sky, Kissed a long time ago, all of theri Soul Cinema series (which will be reissued next month as doubel features). Still, it's quite a range of films going OOP. I wonder if all will return? I'm sure Thelma & Louise will. It's a popular and important film.

Warners really fucked up this release.
Every store I've been to - Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy - has been sold out of the DC, but has dozens of untouched copies of the theatrical cut.
They should have released this as a 2-disc DC and not bothered with the single-disc theatrical. Considering the unavailability of the 2-disc and all of the copies of the single disc that nobody wants, I'd wager that this move cost Warners a good sized chunk of cash.
