Mortal Kombat Platinum Series release ideas
I found a re-release in a plastic case at Wal Mart once for 5 bucks. Said enhanced for 16x9 televisions. anyone confirm there is one anamorphically enhanced

If you have a multi-region dvd player, you can order the French PAL DVD. That one is anamorphic and DD 5.1 English. It's pretty good quality, I got that one. http://www.amazon.fr/Mortal-Kombat-R...7541304&sr=1-1

Here's what I was thinking. On disc 1, A High Def restoration in sound and color with the director and/or editor's supervision. Anamorphic widescreen. Then a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround EX and 6.1 DTS-ES Discrete tracks. English and Spanish subtitles. On disc 2, deleted scenes, also remastered in high def with dolby surround or regular 5.1 dolby. The character bios from the first DVD. Then, digitally remastered, not in high def, of a 1.78 or 1.85 (even if it was made in full screen) anamorphic widescreen presentation of Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins with either 2.0, Dolby Surround, or 5.1 Dolby Digital sound.
