A great, brilliant week.
(1) Warner Gangsters Collection Volume Three - At last, Brother Orchid, The Black Legion, The Mayor of Hell!
(2) Kings of the Sun - Wanted to see this Yul Brynner epic for many years.
(3) Taras Bulba - This was one of the first films I ever saw in a cinema. I think I nearly soiled myself when Brynner cut off Guy Rolfe's hand in the opening sequence. Tony Curtis is shite as usual, but eveyrthing else about the film is glorious.
(4) Solomon and Sheba - King Vidor's last film.
(5) Bonnie and Clyde
