Eight Men Out - 20th Anniversary - question

I did a search, and found nothing, sorry if it is a repost. I was wondering if anyone knows if this will be anamorphic? I am hoping it will be, but seeing they spelled D.B. Sweeney's name wrong.. Anyway, has anyone received this early or seen any screen caps anywhere?

MGM Home Entertainment has announced a 20th Anniversary edition of Eight Men Out which stars John Cusack, Charlie Sheen, and Christopher Lloyd. This John Sayles directed sporting drama will be available to own from the 18th March, and should retail at around $14.98. Extras will include an audio Commentary from director John Sayles, a 2 Part Retrospective featurette, a Story Behind The Movie featurette that takes an in-depth look at the Black Sox Scandal, and a DB, The Bat & The 2005 World Series featurette thats looks at the 2005 White Sox World Series Championship

It was posted before (back in January):

I don't blame you for reposting, since I also did a search and didn't find anything under the title. I found the thread by searching Cusack.

Amazon has it for $9.99, but their description leaves a lot to be desired. No mention of anamorphic, and worse, it lists it as widescreen 1.33:1

Format: Color, DVD-Video, Widescreen, NTSC
Language: English
Region: Region 1 (U.S. and Canada only. Read more about DVD formats.)

Aspect Ratio: 1.33:1
Number of discs: 1
Rating:
Studio: MGM (Video & DVD)
DVD Release Date: March 18, 2008
Run Time: 120 minutes

Don't be sorry. The search function here is useless. DVDTalk should be sorry they are using whatever software they're using.

I would have to assume it is anamorphic. MGM and Fox don't even label their titles as such anymore on the packaging (stupid), but I don't think there has been a recent title which was not anamorphic.

It's 2008. There shouldn't be any fear of a dvd coming out that isn't anamorphic. That is the norm. The old release from 2001 was anamorphic, this one will be as well. I never did buy that release, so I eagerly await this verison.

That would be nice to be able to assume safely, but the new 2-disc edition of Scorsese's New York, New York released on December 4, 2007 recycles the old non-anomorphic transfer. The new Billy Wilder collection reuses the older non-anomorphic Special Edition transfer of Some Like It Hot instead of the newer anomorphic transfer from the 2-disc Collector's Edition version.

Don't worry. It's anamorphic 1.85:1.
