Where's the cheapest place for the Hardy Boyz DVD that's coming out on Tuesday? I was thinking of buying it on FYE.com but shipping and tax kill the deal for me.

I've only ever come across two copies of both the Ultimate X and AMW DVD's, and both went for absurdly high prices.

are there any exclusives planned for the Hardy Boyz Twist of Fate DVD?

I opened them up today and they're in pristine condition too. I'll be starting on the AMW DVD tonight, I didn't know it was 2 discs either, good stuff.

UPDATE: Best price I found online w/o any rebates was at familyvideo.com. I got it for $16.48 with $0.99 shipping and no sales tax. That's better than FYE with shipping, tax and a $7 rebate.

Just added the Best of the 3 LIVE KRU DVD to my collection. I didn't realize the DVD was so rare but won it for under $22 on the BAY. :)

A couple of unsolicited DVD reviews.

First off, just finished watching the Rey Mysterio: Biggest Little Man DVD, and I found myself pleasantly surprised. I was kinda hesitant to buy it, since I thought a lot of his matches would just look the same, but this was a damn good set. In a lot of ways, it was better than the Austin DVD. Aside from only skimming his days in ECW, there is a great sense of history here.

Some of the highlights for me:

Three GREAT matches against Dean Malenko. These are the kind of great matches where it doesn't matter how wins, because the audience leaves happy.

BOTH of the Eddie/Rey matches from WCW ppv in '97 were a nice surprise. Really cool to see Eddie's only ppv victory over Rey here.

Rey's first WWE cruiserweight title win against Matt Hardy was just gold. A fantastic little match that SHOULD HAVE happened at WrestleMania, but this just a feel good moment.

The one match that really got overlooked during the Eddie/Rey feud from WM to their steel cage match on SD! was the match they had in June 2005. It was after Judgment Day but before The Great American Bash, and it's great to see the feud completed on DVD. Now if only I could figure out a reason to buy GAB '05 (the worst WWE ppv of 2005) beyond that ONE match.

Nice to see the DVD end with Rey's match for almost a year, and with Rey telling us he'll be back. The "I Quit" match was a good way to end the feud with Chavo, and it's cool to see four matches between the two, especially since they're all so different.

TNA's Destination X 2007

To me, this was TNA's version of The Great American Bash 2000: nearly every match was a gimmick match (but wasn't billed that way, like ONS '07), it was mostly rematches from the prior ppv (six out of nine), and aside from Rhino winning Elevation X, all the same guys come out on top again. But for reason, I LOVE this ppv. It's a great junk ppv, done well.

LAX/3-D is garbage wrestling, but fast-paced brawl-filled garbage wrestling, so I love it.

People are split on Elevation X. Some say it's like every other scaffold match: boring and uneventful. Others say it's not only the best scaffold match ever (which isn't saying much), it's a damn good match. I'm leaning towards the latter. At first, I thought it was kinda uneventful, but part of the thrill is in the suspense, and I think Rhino and Styles did a great job keeping us biting our nails for 12 1/2 minutes. There were some good stunts, and good tension.

Scott Steiner vs. Kurt Angle was one of those matches that I'm just glad happened. Is it good? Not really. But it's not terrible. In terms of "intense" dream matches, it's somewhere in between Angle/HBK and Goldberg/Lesnar. It's just...there. Notice how the crowd chants "that was weak" at the aftermath.

Sting vs. Abyss in a last rites match is wrestlecrap at it's finest. What started out as a pretty entertaining feud became more ridiculous every week. Why not just call it a casket match and have the casket at ringside, instead of IN THE RING, where they couldn't do much. It's not the best effort, but Sting bleeds buckets, gets chokeslammed onto a casket, and I finally realize what WCW was all about.

Christian/Joe was a damn good main event. Christian reminded me a lot of HHH here, and even though Joe winning would have been a great feel good finish, Christian retaining made the reaction that much stronger. It was such a "groaner" ending, that I kind of liked it.

Was the workrate here great? Not really. But this was a damn entertaining ppv.

Great reviews man! I always like to see someone admit to enjoying a TNA event. There is no doubt that TNA can put out some of the most laughable crap ever, but there's nothing wrong with being entertained. I own almost every TNA PPV and there are lots that I need to watch before I can call myself an expert, but there's something charming and silly about TNA and every now and then you get a stellar three or four star match in there too.

WWE always feels so stale to me and I just can't get behind any of their "stars". I enjoyed Benoit and Eddie during their time there, but we know what happened to them. CM Punk feels fresh on WWE TV, but I'd rather just go watch his stuff in ROH.

I miss WCW. Even at it's Shockmaster worst, I was pretty loyal...lol

I also miss classic ECW, but don't we all?

Yeah, that's kind of how I feel. You know what it is? TNA just feels less watered down. Don't get me wrong, I think WWE is just an all-around better company, but with three shows, three world champions, title changes that occur every six months, and very little movement towards growth, the product just feels like a less-good version of what it is what three years ago, and there's nothing special about being a world champion.

In TNA, everyone interacts with everyone regularly, and despite the roster being filled with ex WWE and WCW stars, there's a very good interaction with homegrown guys, like James Storm, Robert Roode, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Kaz, and so on.

I don't know if I could own every TNA PPV (I haven't gotten to completist territory just yet), especially since some of them are just indefensively awful (Turning Point '07, Hard Justice '07), although it's hard for me to judge since I just ordered Against All Odds '07 on ebay, arguably their second or third worst show of 2007.

Does anyone have a list of true WWF DVDs that were released? As in, not the edited shit they released later. I want to know what DVDs were pressed BEFORE they became "WWE" and started editing "WWF" content.

This is going to sound REALLY cheap, but if I could find this for $10 bucks new, then it might be worth it. Both of these events were watchable, but astoundingly mediocre.

As long as it has some solid stuff from the mid-90s and his WWE run, I'll be sold.

The title match with Angle and Benoit from the Royal Rumble was fantastic.

I demand Flair/Vader from Starcade '93 to be on the new set, including all of the segments throughout the show leading up to the match, as well as the post match stuff. The stuff with Mean Gene, at Flair's home, in the limo, the segment in the back after the match.

I want all of that stuff.

And yes, I know that it's not likely. :(
