First time poster long time viewer here. Anyone happen to know if Dick Tracy, the 1990 movie not any of the cartoons or tv shows, is going to get special edition treatment any time?
I seem to remember hearing something about the release being a special edition, then plans changed and it was released as a bare bones disc waayyy back when the originally released it on dvd. Then I stopped following news about it. Say it used the other day and thought about buying it, but want to hold off if they have a double dip planned for anytime in the near future.

I've always said this is the perfect entry into Disneys "VISTA" series of DVDs.

Don't hold your breath. There is a legal battle going on for the rights owner. Until it gets resolved, this will stay in limbo.

I remember the rumors about a Vista series coming out and that Warren Beatty was working on a directors cut. this could of been great but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
