Hitman: 3/11/08

Hitman will be released on March 11. 2008 courtesy of Fox.
One of the worst movies of 2007 IMO.

Drexl 01-14-08 04:24 PM

Then why did it deserve to be bolded? ;)

gerrythedon 01-14-08 04:37 PM

Only way I'm getting this if it's a 2disc with a shit load of features, as Fox usually delivers on.

DJariya 01-14-08 04:50 PM

Even a 2-disc deluxe edition with a 1 hour documentary and 2 commentaries couldn't get me to buy or rent this movie. It flat out stunk. I was glad that I saw it for free with the movie cash coupon.

jaded25 01-14-08 04:53 PM

2-Disc This Movie Sucks Edition. Definitely up there as one of the worst movies ever made.

Robert 01-14-08 05:01 PM

I'll be buying it just for the next Bond girl, Olga Kurlyenko...

Ditto, but since it's Fox, a 2-disc unrated version will probably be on its way after this release (if they don't do it at the same time).

DJariya 01-14-08 05:12 PM

Yeah it was cool seeing her nude, but I was bored for the most part and Timothy Olyphant was horrible as the lead.

mike2 01-14-08 05:24 PM

I heard it was horrible. Maybe I'll Netflix it.

JJE-187 01-14-08 05:47 PM

Movie sucked but my wife dug it, hopefully there will be a Unrated version with more blood and boobs

Definitely rent it if you really want to watch it. For the most part, the movie sucked, but I would give it a C or C- for some decent visuals and good gunplay sequences.

uncle-frank 01-14-08 10:50 PM

wont be getting it. saw this in theatres and the effects made it tolerable on the big screen. thats about it...

Rammsteinfan 01-14-08 11:13 PM

It wasnt the worst movie ever made but its definitely should have been DTV. Could have been better with a slightly better script and a different actor. He did look like a cancer patient and not a hitman.

Willh51 01-15-08 12:13 AM

#1 worst of the year IMO.

mikelowry 01-15-08 05:06 AM

A rental for me. Just wanna see how it really sucks.

Really? Worse than BloodRayne 2, Farce of the Penguins, Epic Movie or Ghost Rider?

I didn't think it was that bad. Mundane for an action movie but certainly not the worst of 2007 (IMO).

Anyway, I'll just Netflix it.

Fox Plots 'Hitman' Blu-ray for March

In an early alert to retailers, Fox has set a March arrival for the action smash 'Hitman,' which will come to Blu-ray in a never-before-seen unrated cut.

Scoring nearly $100 million at the worldwide box office, the Timothy Olyphant-Dougray Scott starrer will debut on Blu-ray in a new 94-minute unrated cut on March 11, day-and-date with the standard-def DVD.

Tech specs are set to include 1080p video and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround audio, along with French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and subtitle options.

Due to the early nature of the retail announcement, the disc's supplemental details were not yet available, but an official media release is expected shortly -- we'll keep you posted.

Fox has set a suggested $39.95 list price for the Blu-ray.
