Ricky Gervais is brilliant! I haven't laughed so hard in ages.....I'm rewatching the Ross Kemp episode from Season One, classic! The exchange between Ricky and Stephen is worth the price of admission.

Glad to hear that this will be available separately as the Special is all that I need to complete my Extras collection. True comic genius....

they need to do a region 1 release of his stand-up specials. I have an Oppo but don't want to only be able to watch them at home (lend them out and so on).

For what price? I mean, the full set is only $35 and there's no date on the special. If you assume the special will be at least $15 on its own, if you made close to $20, you'll break even and actually have it when first available.

I fail to see the problem. Now if you haven't sold BOTH of your sets or take a hit on the sale, ok.

This is very good news. Won't have to import it. I'm also hoping tickets for his NYC gig will be available at the end of May. I could have got some decent seats last month but eh, not really worried. The best seats are your typical NYC bs of companies having them all. I'll most likely go to ebay for a ticket like I did last summer.

The Extras Series Finale Special is still being broadcast on HBO (and in HD), so I'll plan to catch it tomorrow and I have high expectations based on some of the comments made on this forum and simply because it's Ricky Gervais....

But you get the little nifty peice of cardboard that surrounds it if you get the complete set!

I only bought season one and sold it in anticipation for this.

It is excellent. It has the same kind of formula as the Office Christmas finale so if you liked that you should love this one.

I'd prefer to have the R2 versions, I watched the special on HBO, and the Americanization of some of the lines was pretty obvious to me. I already have S1 in R2, so might as well complete the set in this way. So to cdwow I go.
