What DVDs did you get for the Holidays 2007?

We seem to have one of these threads every year. Since I had my Xmas early on Saturday, I figured I'd start this up.

What DVDs did you get for the 2007 Holidays?

I got:
The Premiere Frank Capra Collection
A Fistful Of Dollars (2-Disc Collector's Set)
For A Few Dollars More (2-Disc Collector's Set)
Alfred Hitchcock (3-Disc Collector's Edition)
The Trouble With Harry (Masterpiece Collection)
The Straight Story
Inland Empire (2-Disk Special Edition)
Twin Peaks (Gold Box Definitive Edition)
Robocop (2-Disc Steelbook)
Clerks (10th Anniversary Edition)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Ugghh that is just terrible, I am so sorry.

I know I've got the latest volume of MST3K under the tree. Not much else dvd related other than that. I had pretty much already bought all the dvds I've wanted through the year.

What causes one to have there X-mas & open so many gifts 3 days before X-mas? I'm not trying to sound like a dick, I'm honestly just curious. Plus knowing that most actually open there X-mas presents, well, on X-mas, you know most can't post what they got yet, unless you just really wanted to be the guy to star this thread. I mean, I got several presents already, but I actually wait until X-mas to open them.

Entourage Season 1 and 2 from a buddy.

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 from my mother

Live Free or Die Hard 1 disc from a friend which I already exchanged since I own the 2-disc set already.

The rest were Best Buy Gift Cards, which I spent yesterday on this week's new releases.

When I visit friends or family leading up to Christmas we exchange presents and open them then. I don't think it's that unusual.

Monster isn't bad.

Those are random titles though. They must have been on sale.

The only one (thus far as I won't be opening until tomorrow) is:

UA Super Deluxe Gift Set

Included with my bonus from work. A total surprise. Sets the bar pretty high for the ones sitting under the tree.

When I was a kid christmas was crazy. My parents, siblings, and I would have to wake up at 4am to be done with our presents by 7am and be at my Grandmother's by 10 for breakfast with them, and then at 1pm we would meet up at my other grandmother's for presents and an early dinner.

Since my cousins and I have grown up and starting having our own children this was just too difficult so instead of breakfast the morning of Christmas we get together several days before hand to exchange gifts and share a meal because this way we are not rushed and we can actually visit with everyone. My siblings who have since married and had their own children (I'm the baby) go to their in-laws typically on Christmas eve or the day after... It's just a tradition in many families.

So far with DVDs I have recieved:
- The Simpsons Movie
- Stardust
- Halloween DC
- Grindhouse: Planet Terror

And I know that the "Gilmore Girls Complete Series" is under the Tree

I just won all 3 Shrek movies in a "gift exchange game". Not too crazy about Shrek, but I have never really seen them, so I'll give them a shot since they're free.

Not sure if I got any of these, but I asked for:

Blade Runner (5D)
Grey Gardens / Beales of Grey Gardens box set
Escape From New York (2D)
Picnic at Hanging Rock

I am pretty sure my mom bought me Pan's Labyrinth (2D) and V For Vendetta (2D) though.
