In for Mafioso, I saw this in theaters during the recent re-theatrical release (figured a Criterion release would be coming eventually), good satire, very Germi-esque.

I am as well, I've discovered directors that I'd never have had access to before, all thanks to this brand spanking new line. I'm lovin' each series.

That is so awesome about The Ice Storm. A really good film. But, yes, that cover is horrendous.

I am going to guess here that Criterion will be using exactly the same print provided by Arte. I tried to promote the massive French double set for DVDTALK which also arrives in native NTSC, not PAL, and has all of the extras subbed in English. Quite frankly anything Criterion drop from this set will be an obvious disappointment. Klein's work is phenomenal and it is so cutting-edge it is sad he was always pushed off of the US market (perhaps because of his anti-Americanism which the more I watch his films the more I understand).

Nevertheless, a great, great choice by Criterion. Bravo!

I'll probably Netflix the Klein movies, and skip the rest.

I just recently got into criterion, besides my copy of Chasing Amy and Videodrome. I plan on picking up perrot le fou and walker in febuary, but nothing here interests me. Good saves me money.

I'm stunned to see William Klein as being available here. I've long admired his black & white images of New York, Paris and Rome (quite a few of his books are in print or reprinted) from decades past and never really focused on his films. His still photography is memorable; fresh, and quite unique for it's era- 1950s-early 70s. Now this is a set I'll definitely get.

I agree. I really want this for the new transfer and the extras, but why downgrade from a DD 5.0 soundtrack to a stereo one?

A new special feature has been added to Antonio Gaudi:

- Visions of Space: Antonio Gaudí, a one-hour documentary on the architect's life and work
