Well, this is getting confusing....

What an interesting game of musical, uh, chairs this is becoming....

When watching the John Ford film MOGAMBO recently, I noted that it is (of course) an MGM film...but on the Warner Home Video label (like all MGM studio films) which leaves MGM Home Video in the weird position of NOT having any actual MGM titles to its name well...apparently. But, strangely enough, I watched the MGM disc of MOBY DICK after that and that is (or WAS) released by Warner Bros in its day...kind of odd. But THAT'S ok since MGM Home Video is now distributed by FOX anyway (huh?) so that kind of blurs together. And MGM seems to have most all of the UNITED ARTIST catalog so you would think they would have called themselves UA Home Video instead. But at LEAST Paramount IS Paramount...unless its actually Universal, since they OWN the Paramount films prior to 1950-something it seems, unless its pre-1930's, in which they are owned by Paramount again (what?) THAT bring us to Columbia. Now...Columbia seems to be....well, COLUMBIA. Nothing exciting here it seems, except Columbia is owned by Sony who (a short time ago) was also distributing the MGM stuff. And I think this is the SECOND time Sony has owned Columbia...I think.

Somebody pass me the Advil...
