Nothing, really. I buy so many DVDs years-round that I like to get things I normally don't buy for x-mas. Besides, I can't trust non-DVDaholics to buy me the right edition with correct oar and mint cases of titles I want.

DVD-wise, requesting Blade Runner (4-disc), the upcoming 2-disc New York, New York and The McCartney Years at the moment. Maybe Bender's Big Score as well, but I'll give that a rental first.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
If money is tight, and you don't mind buying used, you can probably pick up Planet Terror, Silver Surfer and At World's End for probably $25/$30 total at your local Hollywood Video/Blockbuster towards the end of December.

Nothing. Don't really ask for DVDs these days. Opted to ask for some more practical items (i.e. cookware). There are DVDs I want, but hey, I can watch the countless unwatched discs sitting on my shelves.

Blade Runner 5-disc "briefcase" on HD-DVD

Godzilla Collection (DVD) -- I think it has 8 discs in it.

I'm sure I'll think of more before Christmas, but those are the ones I've mentioned so far.

I only asked for The X-Files: Ultimate Collection, and I know my parents bought it. Ever since my husband and I got married, we purchase all our DVDs together and don't have a "mine" and "yours" collection, so we don't get each other DVDs.

My list is already filled up with Wii games and accessories, but if I had to ask for one DVD for X-mas, it'd be the Blade Runner 5-disc Ultimate Collector's Set.

Nothing.

Because the only time I got a DVD for christmas that I wasn't actually along when buying was Gone with the Wind. I asked for the 4-disc version and they somehow managed to find the original bare bones release. I thought that was OOP?
