Frasier complete series?

I'm debating on what to use my B&N 50% coupon on and was wondering what the chances of a Frasier boxset (ala Seinfeld) ever being released was or just take the plunge on the bundled 11 season sets.

it would come to around $9/season if I used the B&N coupon, but I could also wait for a B1G1 TV sale and come in around $11-12 season and bide myself some extra time and see if anything is ever announced re: a complete series boxset. I'd be more interested in any resulting saved shelf space rather than a bunch of extras (though a coffee table book like the Seinfeld offering would be nice) if a complete boxset is ever released as my main interest lies in just the episodes themselves.

tvshowsondvd didn't have any new info but I was wondering what everyone here thought regarding a possible boxset down the road.

I think you can bank on a boxset with Frasier.

100% definite.

I'm to the point where I often hold off on buying individual seasons unless there is an exclusive.

I know the argument that if we don't buy individual seasons they won't have the money to make a complete series, so I still buy individual seasons of more niche shows, but "big" releases like Frasier I think we're safe.

If you look at the holiday seasons for the past few years, the number of "complete sets" have increased. Quite dramatically, this year.

These sell well, make great gifts, and allow studios to repurpose shows that might have started to stall at retail. I'd guarantee that you'll see a flood of these complete sets next year at this time. Frasier is an obvious candidate.
