They both have shiny slipcovers and neither have an audio commentary track (assuming this Q is about the original theatrical 2-disk edition of Kingdom of Heaven)?

Both movies are based on novels, but that's more of an answer to "What do the films The Prestige and Kingdom of Heaven have in common?"

How about: Both DVDs can be bought for under $20 each?

Seriously, have you tried googling who produced both DVDs, or designed the DVD menus, or how many units of each DVD were sold in the first week? Maybe the answer is one of those.

Both are blu-ray exclusive but can be imported on HD-DVD, well Kingdom of Heaven eventually can.

Their titles can both be rearranged to create tragic, porcine-related situations!

Kingom of Heaven -> Venom knifed a hog!
The Prestige -> Retest the pig!

Are they banned in a certain country? Maybe the magic and religion aspects don't sit well with some regime?
