Has anybody heard of this is coming out in a SE? I heard something about this 6 months go but nothing after that.
Obviously a monumental film, however I always felt that the acting was wooden. Anybody agree?

Love to get a SE of this w/ the Carpenter commentary. One tip- when asking about the possibility of a title, make sure to add a couple of question marks, that way folks don't think you're making an official announcement.

i have the DVD of this... a classic...
'wooden' acting?... heresy!!!!
maybe i'd go as far as 'stiff and mechanical'...
but with 'wooden' you've gone too far!!!
i didn't know there was a 'fan' commentary by carpenter available...

Uh...I'm pretty sure the OP was refering to the 1951 Howard Hawks produced version of the film.....
