Futurama: "Bender's Big Score" trailer

I so can't wait for the Futurama movie! Here's a trailer. It seems Fox is harping on their "be self-aware about our animated shows and self-deprecating about our own network" marketing campaign that they used for the Simpsons movie... getting to be an old cliche but I'm still super-excited.

The trailer was kinda funny... but it just felt odd. Although I really do like FOX's sense of humor about the whole thing. Although, I would like it better if they never canceled the show in the first place, :P

I'm quoting that guy's post who posted the trailer since it sums up how I feel. And it's easier to copy & paste then to think of an original response:

"For instance, there’s a penis joke in it? Really, guys? You have two minutes to pitch the long-awaited return of one of the smartest comedies of all time and you fill it with explosions and wiener talk? We can get that stuff anywhere! We go to you for extended gags about time-travel incest and the Harlem Globetrotters!

Hopefully ‘Bender’s Big Score’ will have context for the lowbrow footage shown here. We’ll all find out this holiday season."

Nicely done but way to spoil a big plot point (Hermes) in the trailer, hopefully this will be worth it.

Yeah, I read that on the site with the trailer too - except I seem to remember one of the funniest Futurama episodes I ever saw had Bender making nothing but penis jokes through the whole thing. Still... it remains to be seen... The Simpsons movie trailer had nothing but lowbrow humor too.

The trailer can also be found on the FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer dvd.

Edit: I forgot to mention that it's on disc 2 of "The Power Cosmic Edition"

It should be under "Trailers" in the Special Feature Section.

If you get it at Best Buy it comes with a bonus disc that features animatics and a sneak peek at the next movie.

In case you were wondering, it's a digipak thing, not a keep case.

I just watched it last night, it's okay. But I think it's in the field of that Family Guy movie where I saw it and I felt it was all right, but when the series came back it was pretty good. So hopefully when the series comes back next year it will be just as good as it used it be.

Although I liked how they referenced a whole lot of the episodes in the movie and had like every single character ever in there too. But, that too could have hurt the movie.

Its funny how YouTube removed the trailer, but the whole movie is up there available to watch in 9 parts.

This is the series. They are making a few movies, and then cutting them up in threes as a television series.
