Wondering if it is anamorphic, or any extras?

From what I've experienced, Alliance is a pretty good company, so I don't see any reason to think it wouldn't be anamorphic. Wouldn't make much sense to release something lesser than what's already available.

It was one of Criterion's first anamorphic DVDs, and I recall it was mastered weird where you might have to force your DVD player to recognize it as such. I'm kind of ashamed for knowing this, but the male nudity in the John the Baptist scene has been blurred on the Criterion DVD, but it wasn't on their original laserdisc.
