Rescue Dawn----> November 20th!

Rescue Dawn will be released on November 20th on a single disc widescreen edition with quite a few nice features.

Here's the art:

Never got a chance to see it in theaters, and it looked pretty solid...Does it warrant a blind buy?

In my opinion, absolutely. This is my favorite movie so far this year. Another truly incredible performance by Bale, in another great film by Herzog.

I will check it out. For some reason this movie did not travel anywhere near my area. Why such a shitty theatre release?

It was an awesome movie and it did indeed get shafted release-wise. On top of that, I read it was finished in 2005, but they couldn't schedule a release date.

I heard this was a great movie and it sounds like a nice bookend to the Herzog documentary "Little Dieter Needs to Fly", so this will be a blind buy for me.

Bale and Herzog. Very interesting tandem. I might consider this for blind buy!

Just caught this last night. Really enjoyed it. Surprised I didn't hear much about. Christian Bale was pretty solid in it. I hate Steven Zahn, but he was decent in this.

Watch it a 2nd time you'll enjoy it even more. It's a great film if you give it a chance. I still can't believe Zahns performance. He's come far since that thing you do.

I'm probably one of the few who thought it was meh, "okay". I've seen better Vietnam war and POW movies - JMO.

I thought this movie sucked. I am a big Bale fan and was very disappointed with this release. It was boring and the whole movie was whispering. Could have been a lot better.

I also felt that it was just okay. Maybe I was expecting too much

Loved the movie. Bale and Zahn were excellent.
