I won't be buying it but I LOVE that cover art. Some of the most impressive I've ever seen! The ambigram for "The Princes Bride" is great!

Seeing as this is the fourth or fifth version of Princess Bride on DVD, I'll pass. But I also like the coverart. I hope they use it when it comes to an HD format...

I was going to post the same comment about the sweet cover art. Very clever. A 20th anniversary HD version would be appropriate. The Blu-ray planned for 2/13/07 release was postponed -- http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/princessbride.html .

Anyway, a brief list of the extras for this edition is here:

I didn't double dip on the last edition, I still have the SE, which I'm happy with. But if I can get this at a good price I probably will.

I seriously ordered the special edition of this from ch.com a couple of hours ago. I gotta learn to do some research on newer versions coming out -- that's the way it goes, eh?

My name is Inigo Montoya and I'm not buying yet another release of this until it goes HD. Prepare to die!

While the cover art is great, I have the 2-Disc Dread Pirate release that came out last time, so I will more than likely pass.

I skipped on the last reissue, but I still have the old Special Edition. I might double dip if the price is right.

I still have the old SE. At this point I may as well wait until I get HD since by that time it should be out on either format. I am tempted by the cover art, though. A DTS track might sway me easily.

Another guy here who passed on the last release but still as the Special Edition. I'll wait for the specs.

I have yet to pick this up. I'm waiting to see if this has more special features than the last release. But I really love the cover art, so I'm leaning towards this one.

That artwork is so cool, I'd buy a poster for the theater room.

Since CH never had the DPR edition, I had held off on buying. Looks like this one is on my shopping list. Or, maybe I should wait for the super-duper 30th Anniversary (after the Format War is finally over ...) Edition.

Inconceivable!

Does the world really need another edition of this movie?

On the other side: Damn that is amazing cover-art!

Every time I'm just about to buy a new version of The Princess Bride to replace the original non-anamorphic, extras-free release I have, MGM releases yet another version.

The cool cover art may get me to finally jump this time, however...

So is the awesome cover art the only new bonus feature?

I don't really care if the art is the only new thing as long as it has all the stuff from the Dread Pirate/Buttercup edition and a new transfer. If it loses features from the newer edition, though, then that would probably dissuade me until it was dirt cheap.

Great that I didn't pick up the last Dread Pirate/Buttercup edition.
But I don't like they keep coming with some release with little new features.
