Those would be my choices as well - though outside of a commentary, there's not much they can do for They Live, but there's a lot of good stuff that was on the Munchause laser-disc that they can put onto dvd along with, say, new interviews and commentary that can shed light on what a disaster the making of this movie was. But since Columbia/Sony has no interest in any movie more than 5 years old, I'll doubt we'll ever see it...

My vote is for Bonnie & Clyde. A personal favorite of mine, that really needs an upgrade.

*Note - I know this is planned, but there has been little to no info on it, so that is why I voted as such.

Trevor 09-14-07 12:23 PM

Another vote for Scrooged.

MTRodaba2468 09-14-07 12:27 PM

Out of those listed, Rain Man (with Beetlejuice as a runner up).

EDIT: Scratch the Risky Business comment. I got my years mixed up.

DoubleDownAgain 09-14-07 12:38 PM

Look slike I am in the minority, but my choice would be Working Girl.

darichestman 09-14-07 12:43 PM

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice i want that to come out in a s.e dvd

JOE29 09-14-07 01:32 PM

I picked Beetlejuice also. I also would like to see Willow and They Live in SE. I saw Willow and They Live both when they were released in the theatre. Man, I can't believe that was 20 years ago.

(Aside from Beetlejuice) Colors

^ Yeah, a couple people on page 2 didn't really read this before voting. This is for 20th Anniversary SE's only...

Of note: Coming to America just had a re-release this year, didn't it? Kind of diluting the poll with its presence at this point.

My vote: As Tears Go By (aka Wong Gok Ka Moon)
Runner-up: Married to the Mob (if they did an "extended" version on the second disc incorporating all the scenes from the end credits.)

animatedude 09-14-07 06:19 PM

the current Rain Man disc is enough.

clayg 09-14-07 11:35 PM

The Great Outdoors.

Quake1028 09-15-07 01:17 AM

Beetlejuice by far.

I would definitely get this, ashame the previously announced SE never was released.

I'm sure there are other movies as well, but I don't have time to search through all movies by the year they were released.

wm lopez 09-15-07 04:11 PM

TUCKER is a great American movie which everyone ages 14 to 24 should watch.

MikeShaynePI 09-15-07 09:00 PM

Not Rain Man, Bull Durham, or Coming to America.

I'll go with Beetlejuice.

Cardsfan111 09-15-07 10:46 PM

You folks are going to force me to check out Beetlejuice again. I haven't seen it since the year it was released and I don't recall caring for it. That being said, I don't remember it all that well!

Exactly. If one isn't released next year, I'm done with DVDs.

Midnight Run

pbishop69 09-20-07 06:09 PM

Sorry if off-topic, but how about a FIFTIETH anniversary edition of The 7TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD with a new transfer from the negative? And a Harryhausen commentary? And new interviews with Kerwin Matthews and any other survibg cast members?
