Thanks man! Just picked up UFC 74 & 76.

Unfortunately we don't have the forum software that automatically disallows brand new members from posting links as many other sites do. Generally we find that new members posting a strong recommendation for a shopping site in their very first post are spammers.

When we want to give them the benefit of the doubt we remove the link to that site and see if they keep insisting on posting it. That eliminates the doubt.

thats a shame. i really enjoy k-1 and dont have any of the dvds. only time i get a chance to see it on espn classic.

Thanks. It was very nice, so nice that I wanted it to last longer :). And it did what the description said it would do, bring a human face to the fighters. I especially liked the part where Mike talked about being deadtired and having some on the top of you and where he spoke about the mental game involved. Would love to hear/see more of thoughts involved when going in a fight,

IMO, music choices were good.

Interesting that the Pride 33 cover calls out guys who are now under UFC contract, leaving out mentions to the (my opinion) best fight on the show, Nick Diaz vs Gomi.

UFC is releasing this, so it is their perogative to push whomever they choose on the cover...

Silva vs Henderson was the main event. the cover has some logic.

My Best Buy (Downers Grove IL) broke the street date on Pride Shockwave 06. Its the best Pride DVD yet (doesn't have that powdered out look).

if i recall, most of the matches are really short, hell they aired 8 out of 9 matches were broadcasted on ppv. The main event has a brutal ending.

I consider it one of my top 5 most enjoyable ppv's to watch.

Thanks. I picked it up this weekend. That main event was brutal. I couldn't help but become a Joe Stevenson fan for the way he came out in that second round (even with a hole in his head). Great stuff, defintiely worth the money.

Glad you enjoyed it. It was a fun PPV to watch and has loads of replay value on dvd.

how was this event? i know the result of the main, but am currious to see it because of Sokouoju, and Mac Danzig with was in this past season of the ultimate fighter.

and i finished the 'best of 2007' dvd last night. I highly recomend this to the casual ufc fans, as there are some amazing fights on this dvd.

I recall the PRIDE 33 event as a very nice event, and I'm sure as hell getting it :-)

And Scareface's collection is killer :-)

Pride 33, in my opinion, is one of the best events ever produced by PRIDE. Non-stop action from start to finish, with plenty of surprise performances and upsets. To me, it is up there with Pride 10 and Total Elimination 2004 (HWT) as one of the best Pride events of all time.

Also, the Best Buy stores in my area also broke street date for Shockwave 2006 by around 5 days or so, lets hope this trend continues ;)

Seeing Dana, Lorenzo and Frank credited as "executive producers" on a PRIDE release is really weird though...

LOL, I know. I thought the same thing. I'm just glad they got there stuff together and have decided to start rolling out these dvd's.

I figured Zuffa had something to do with the release when they didn't include the usual extra's that have been included for just about every pride fc release.

Robby Mikoski was ok on play by play. I'll always be partial to Renallo and/or Quandros. I happen to also like Frank Trigg on color. He adds alot of insight.

IMO Pride 33 is probably , fight for fight, there second best event. Bushido 9 would be top for me.
