This season has been released today here in Mexico, the cover art is different (better in my opinion), it has some featurettes, an Easter egg featuring the appearance of Jack and Chloe on The Simpsons, deleted scenes, the alternate ending which is basically a slightly longer version in which jack throws his gun on the sea, webcast diaries, sprint webisodes that feature Jack being interrogated about Marcus Holt.
Anyway here I have some pictures from the packaging, as well a gallery with screencaps of the menus and extras:

Personally I re-watched season 1,2,3
I watched most of the bonus material on those sets as well.
Season 4 I only watched the bonus material.
Season 5 I listened to the commentary on the season premiere with Kiefer and watched the bonus material.
As for season 6, I'm going to watch the premiere with Kiefer's commentary and watch all the bonus material. I may check out Abu Fayed's commentary as well.

The Britain/Mexico packaging looks miles better than the Region 1 version.
I have mixed feelings about this season. The good parts (especially the opening four episodes) were outweighed by a bunch of factors (the horrid prequel, Graem Bauer and the family drama, Morris' magic alcohol problem, CTU getting taken over by terrorists again). I don't know. After seeing the preview for season 7, I don't have much hope. The only seasons I cared for were the first and third.

Has anyone gotten this earlier, I am wondering where the easter egg Simpsons episode will be.

The press release says it's on Disc 7, so I assume it shouldn't be that hard to find.

Season 3 gets the most replay value out of me...by far my favorite season!

Here's my gameplan for going through this set:
Will watch the 1st 4 episodes.
Will watch the premiere with Howard Gordon and Kiefer Sutherland commentary.
Will sporatically watch certain episodes with commentary.
Finally, will watch the entire bonus disc.
I definitely have no plans to sit through all 24 episodes of this again.

I have seen seasons 1-5 every esipode at least 5 times, maybe more due to wgn and a&e showing it daily. I didn't start watching the show til season 4 but I brought the dvds for the 1st 3 after season 4 ended on tv. Season 5 by far is the best season, I would go 3, 1, 4, 2, 6. Season 5 was so damn good, anything that didn't match it would have been bad. Season 6 the first 4 hours was awesome, everyone knows that, but after that it went completely downhill.
I will buy season 6 no doubt.
BTW the person who asked if 24 will ever release in hd or blu-ray. I think they will eventually be release in blu-ray. Prison break season 1 recently came out in blu-ray.

I sometimes toy with the idea of picking up some more season sets when they go on Black Friday sales & such, since I'm somewhat interested in the special features, but I never follow through. I have other shows that I'd rather rewatch.

One of my co-workers, who's an absolute DVD addict, decided to sell off his entire 24 collection because he woke up one day and decided it had zero replay for him.
It's pretty subjective whether or not these DVD sets or all TV on DVD in general has any replay value for the consumer. Some people watch it once and that's enough for them and others like myself occassionally like to re-visit a good epiosde and watch all the extras. If you don't feel the urge to spend the 40-50 bucks on this set, then by all means hold off and wait until it gets discounted.

Just got my set from DVDempire today. Looks very nice. It also encludes a trading card for the card came of 24 and a booklet of promotional offers including a coupon for a free 20 oz. bottle of Vault energy drink.
