Actually I think the transforming case is kind of cool, I doubt I'll be buying the film though.

It'll be the single disc version with the bonus "Beginnings" DVD. Walmart rarely adds bonuses to to 2 disc editions of movies. Best bet is to bite the "All Spark" and buy both the 2 disc and this version. (pun intended) That's the only advice I can give ya. |

for anyone who was concerned about the steelbooks at fye, they came in today and I can confim they are the same as any steelbook I have seen.
Reg retail $29.99 on sale for $26.99 I think. |

Just saw a full page ad in the new Ent. Weekly for Target's tranforming case/2-disc set. No price given, but it said it does include some sort of exclusive comic book.

Reg retail $29.99 on sale for $26.99 I think. Thanks! I pre-ordered one a few weeks ago. I'm no longer worried. Do you know how many came to the store? Was it a limited amount? |
After seeing close-up pics of the steelbooks in this week's FutureShop flyer, I'm not sure which one I want anymore. The Decepticon insignia looks kind of simplistic compared to the Autobot insignia. Based purely on looks, I'm now leaning toward the Autobot steelbook. But I wonder which, if any, will be the rarer of the two down the line?

Depending on how long the Beginnings DVD is at Walmart, if its just a few mins long then ill pass. Ill probably get the 1 disc + bonus and 2 disc set. Give the 1 disc away for xmas and keep the beginnings disc.

So is there a Transformers R1 steelbook? And if so, where can one order it. Thanks in advance
|
You know if that Transformers Beginnings DVD is 30 minutes or more, I may actually have to get that.
Plus, the Target 2-disc case that changes into a Transformer sounds really enticing as well. |

these images are taken from canada's futureshop where they have the canadian exclusive. but they are the same steelbooks being offered by transworld which has the US exclusive. <img src="http://www.futureshop.ca/multimedia/products/large/dvd2140554.jpg"> <img src="http://www.futureshop.ca/multimedia/products/large/dvd2140555.jpg"> |

Just wanted an actual description (or picture/s) from someone who's actually seen them. |
Does anyone know if Wal-Mart's exclusive prequel will be included with the 2-disc edition there?

No. It's only available with the 1 disc. |

Only R1 steelbook is from fye? thanks. And nope, its not just R2.. at the bottom of this post, I attached a pic from a Philippines (R3) website that features the marketing for the upcoming Transformers release.

I posted link to the play.com steelbook on page 6 of this thread.
Philippines as I see it carries the most blessed marketing from Paramount among other countries. -confused- But take a look at its toll if we here can spend around $20-$40 there spends like P800-P2,000 in their currency |
