Didn't expect to see the DVD announcement so quickly. Is the movie even in theaters yet?

Damn shame it may have "tanked" at the box office. It wasn't promoted right at all. I saw it by chance and left extremely impressed. I didn't think I'd ever see it, but am glad I did and will certainly look to buy it. It's immensely entertaining and something that feels fresh and new, especially compared to all the dreck and sequels.
This will be like Shawshank... people will discover it on home video and be amazed, and regret not seeing it.

I really wanted to see this movie but between my family vacation and starting school again I sadly misses it. This will definately be a blind-purchase when I'm doing my holiday shopping.

Loved the movie, lots of fun. I'd easily recommend it as a blind buy, or even better, if it's still playing near you, GO SEE IT. Count me in if it hits HD DVD.

My brother said this was one of the best movies he's seen in years (most enjoyable, anyway). I haven't seen it yet because my girlfriend has no interest in it. It's like pulling teeth to get her to go see anything, really.

I can't wait for the Stardust dvd. Stardust was the best movie of the summer. Watching to many sequels or "threequels" (or what ever the heck its called) can do that to you. I'm still awaiting for the cd soundtrack. This is one time where a very good movie didn't deserve its lackluster box office.

Just like everyone else in this thread I thought it was a great movie. My ideal bonus feature would be a Gaiman and Vaughn commentary. But I get the feeling this set won't have a commentary.

I just got back from seeing this in the theater and I definitely enjoyed it almost over all the other summer movies that have come out this year. It had lots of great moments and quite a fun cast - as the DVD talk review I just read mentioned, I would loved to have seen a movie based around Michelle Pfeiffer's Lamia character. A definite DVD acquisition when it comes out!
