Who cares who owns the POS T3.
Well, yeah, that's the only logical situation in my eyes. Artisan released the T2 DVD editions, so therefore, when they merged into Lionsgate, the rights shifted over to Lionsgate. In other words, if T2 ever sees a new DVD release, Lionsgate will be the distributor of the discs.

...but Lionsgate only own a limited term license and that will expire. I don't think they own the film. Just like Criterion buy limited rights to MGM/Universal and the product reverts to those companies and they release it themselves.
