Waitress Nov. 27

I can't wait until "Waitress" comes to DVD! I didn't get a chance to see it in theaters and I really wanted to. I hope it's as good as everyone says it is. This is probably going to be a blind buy for me.

It breaks my heart to watch this, knowing such a promising and talented writer/director was so senselessly murdered.

I’ve also heard great things about this movie; I’ll definitely blind buy it. I hope this sell really well as a tribute too Adrienne Shelly. Plus you can’t go wrong with Cheryl Hines & Andy Griffith.

The cover is attractive but I hate to see the original poster art replaced. It seemed almost iconic.

Our Sundance Cinema opened in Madison on May 11. Waitress was one of the original films and it has been playing here uninterrupted for four months now. I read that more people have seen it at this theater than anywhere else in the country except two theaters in New York and one in Los Angeles. Pretty amazing for a town our size.

Great film, one of my favorites of the year.

I never watched it. I've been interested in checking it out, though.

It was a very well made, thoughtful, and cute film. I might not purchase it on release day, but I will definately purchase it down the road.

DVD Empire has it widescreen for $14.99 (50% off; curiously, the fullscreen is $21.49), plus there is a coupon (1365486) good through Monday for $10 off of $65.

I preordered Waitress, 24 S6 which is also 50% off (I know, not a good season, but all completists will still want it and the price is good) and Live Free or Die Hard 2-disc Collectors Edition for
