The price would be $64.97. The DVDPlanet sale is really a 48% off sale for Criterion titles not a 55% off sale. They subtract the 35% first and then reduce the price by an additional 20% with the sale code.

Actually, I am a bit surprised that the studio did not come up with a In Memoriam Antonioni boxset that would introduce the missing piece from his trilogy: La Notte.

11/13 according to the Image Entertainment site. Where did you get 11/27, or was that a guess?

I think releases are planned too far in advance for something like that.

DVD Aficionado had that release date posted yesterday.

I just saw the Image Entertainment date. Looks like it it should be in play for around $65 during the November sales.

That would be the coolest gift I've ever received if someone game me one. Is the December release confirmed?

La Notte has been on the certainties-rumor-list at the Criterion forum for a very long time.

Wow. Alexanderplatz.

I'm a bit concerned about the PAL slow-down though.

I'll finally get THE LADY VANISHES with the new art, and BERLIN A is something I've been waiting to see.

It has and I certainly hope to La Notte released by Criterion. But if I have learned anything from the Speculation List posted on the Criterion forum it's that we really don't know anything.

I think the new art for The Lady Vanishes is atrocious. I'll buy it anyway, though...
