Amos and Andy

Ok, I did a forum search and didnt find anything. What about the Amos and Andy complete series being sold on ebay. Are these bootlegs or is the series in public domain making them legal?

Um, have you ever actually seen this show?

The original radio show had white actors doing the voices, yes.

The movie, Check and Double Check, had the same actors in blackface.

The TV show had all African-American actors...

I've seen most every episode, it's one of my dad's favorite shows...

Your post is more of a detriment to the English language than these two guys (silly antics, goofy dialect and all) were to African-American culture. The original poster did not ask, and most likely does not care, what you think about them, but only if there is a legitimate DVD set available.
